CE - 501 Philosophy & History of Christian Education  4 Credits
A survey of the historical developments of Christian education from biblical times to the present. Attentions will be given to the foundations of education in theology, philosophy, and learning theory.

CE - 503 Building Leaders for Christian Education  4 Credits
An in-depth study of methods and ways to discover, enlist, train, and develop leaders and teachers in the local church Christian Education ministry.

CE - 505 Methods of Teaching  4 Credits
A survey course covering general methodology of instruction within the classroom. The methods considered will be appropriate for both church education ministries and Christian day school classes.

CE - 607 Christian Education Programs of the Church  4 Credits
A study of the role and function of education ministers in the church. Attention will be given to staff relations, and supervision of the educational programs of teh church.

CE - 608 Pedagogy Practicum   4 Credits
This course is a Practicum, a "hads on" preparation that will give students the principles and methods of successful teaching. Students will spend the quarter in a local church of a Christian day school in an actual learning situation and personally developing a teaching unit.

CP - 502 Introduction to Christian Counseling  4 Credits
A study of the Biblical foundations of Christian counseling. The fundamental of counseling techniques and spiritual guidance will be emphasized.

MM - 506 Advanced Christian Ethics   4 Credits
An intensive study and research of moral and ethical issues that are of immediate concern to the church, society, and Christianity as a whole.

TH - 501 Advanced Systematic Theology  4 Credits
An intensive and comprehensive study of the major doctrines of the Christian faith from a Biblical foundation. The nature of theology, its methods, and claims are discussed and assessed.

TH - 501 Apologetics  4 Credits
An intensive study of the defense of the Christian faith against counter-claimants to truth. A critical analysis will be made of the methodology in apologetics.

PS - 401 Women in Ministry  4 Credits
A study of the tools, philosophy and principles in prepared women for the varied areas of Christian service- Christian worker, educator, and minister's wife. Attention will be given to biblical understanding of the role of the women in the church.

CE - 609 Directed Thesis  4 Credits
Required of all students in the Master Degree Program. The student will be assigned to an Academic Advisor and the parameters for the thesis will be set by QCBC. Students will be required to submit their thesis research and findings on the subject upon with their Academic Advisor.
